The Mary P. Dolciani Halloran Foundation
In 1982, Dr. Mary P. Dolciani Halloran, with her husband James J. Halloran and Eugene J. Callahan as Trustees, established the Mary P. Dolciani Halloran Foundation to further the study of mathematics and mathematics education.
Some of the accomplishments of the Foundation are:
- The Mary P. Dolciani Mathematics Learning Center at Hunter College,
City University of New York - The Mary P. Dolciani Mathematical Center in Washington, D.C.,
home of the Mathematical Association of America (MAA) - The Mary P. Dolciani Professor of Mathematics at Hunter College,
City University of New York - Project NExT Dolciani Fellows
- The Dolciani Mathematics Enrichment Grants
- Scholarships for graduating high school seniors through specific school endowments
- Support for Catholic education
- Support for public safety and humanitarian projects

The Foundation's Primary Areas of Interest are mathematics and mathematics education. The Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees and does not accept unsolicited grant requests.
